Art & Jazz at Minna no Cafe, Fushimi, Kyoto

sunflowerThis Saturday, November 9th, Minna no Cafe in Fushimi is hosting an evening of art and jazz from 5pm till 9pm, with the music beginning at 7pm.

Exhibition: “Strong Children in Japan” features art from Geoff Read in collaboration with children from Fukushima.

Music: funk/jazz/soul from singer Alicia Saldenha.

Admission: 1500 yen. Includes art show (17:00-18:30), live music performance (19:00 – 21:00) and one drink ticket. Reserve tickets by calling Minna no Cafe. Tel: 075-632-9352

Access:
A 3 minute walk from Kintetsu Momoyama Goryomae or Keihan Fushimi-Momoyama. From either station walk WESTWARD on Otesuji Street, turn left at SoftBank onto Ryogaemachi Dori, walk straight again and you will see it on the left. Here is a map.
