A big THANK YOU to all those who helped out last Saturday. Especially, Michael Chan and Mika Fukumitsu for handing out fliers in the blazing heat, and also to the mystery triathlete who slipped 10,000 in the donations box when I wasn’t looking! Our final takings were 28,900 yen, an improvement on the previous week’s 9,300, but obviously we hope to make much more than that. This weekend’s final sale is the BIG ONE. EVERYTHING MUST GO!! We will be open longer hours, 9am till 6pm and we will be selling everything at rock-bottom prices. Please do come along, pick up some bargains and help contribute to a very important cause. People in Tohoku still need our help!
We have a fantastic book selection: lots of fiction, poetry, history, biography, travel, photography, art books, languages, spirituality, philosophy, sociology, science, homecrafts…

We also have a lot of records (see below) and (unpictured) many, many fine CDs.
Not to mention clothes, crockery, electrical goods, toys… You never know what you might pick up!
Come along and check it out!
