The event itself began awesomely enough with gold painted ladies ushering us into a dreamlike world of butoh, electronic beats and tomatoes…
(I still don’t get the tomatoes). Mitsu Salmon and ryotaro then took us to the zoo with accordion music, song and dance. After that dancer Bridget Scott and cellist Hugues Vincent played with traditional Japanese themes before the Knock Downs let loose with machine gun rock powered MAYHEM. Excellent stuff.
