Here’s a bit of fun I heard about from our dear friend Mitsu Salmon; this Saturday ryotaro and max of elements fame will be doing a one night tour of ten different Kiyamachi bars. Here’s the itinerary:

    I think “honyarado” should say “hachimonjia,” no?

    You’re right! Honyarado is the photographer Kai Fusayoshi’s legendary cafe up on Imadegawa: http://www.deepkyoto.com/?p=39
    He also runs the bar Hachimonjiya (I think that’s the correct reading) on Kiyamachi. There’s a map to it here: http://honyarado-kyoto.cool.ne.jp/hachimonjiya.html
    Sorry about the mix up!
