tRace elements: “Up & Down the Ki” – Kiyamachi Tour Highlights

December 4, 2013 By Michael Lambe Leave a Comment

IMG_4549 (Medium)Here are some highlights from an extraordinary ten-bar tour of Kiyamachi & Pontyocho that started at 7pm Saturday evening and finished around 5.30 am the following day. It was a real fun, friendly and festive occasion. A little bit of music and magic up and down “the Ki'”…

The show begins at Bar Lowo = Tar = Voga. I’d not been here before. Nice place. This song is: “Fool’s Gold & Common Sense”

The Clash’s “Bank Robber” covered with Hako at ING:

“Crooked Pine” at Booze K:

At Tadg’s with DoDo + Peter William Damashek: “Whisky is Thicker than Blood”

At Urbanguild with Lawrence Barrow (they were on fire here!): “Stone Cold Blind”

At 八文字屋: “Hey Little Sister”

At Alphabet Ave. with Yung Tsubotaj + (half of) DoDo:

Last stop at Jam House:

Photos will be posted later. Photos are posted below! Apologies to Philippe at Bar FSN and the folks at Usagi for running out of memory on my camera! I promise to bring more memory for the tenth tour next year!
