Sunshine Cafe

June 28, 2007 By Michael Lambe

UPDATE: Sunshine Cafe has now closed.

Sunshine Cafe is a very pleasant location for lunch or dinner if you happen to be in the town centre. All ingredients here are 100% natural, organic and healthy, and though not a vegetarian restaurant they do have many vegetarian options. The lunch-time menu is basically a choice between a light curry, bagel sandwiches, open sandwiches or the daily special. In the evening the menu is a bit more expansive including various pasta dishes and tasty appetizers. They also do a range of breads and cakes and their beverage selection includes many fine herb teas, coffees and organic wine and beer. All of it reasonably priced. You can check the menu here: menu

Here are some pictures.

Sunshine Cafe is on Sanjo just east of Teramachi. Watch out for a shouting teenage fashion victim holding a sign advertising the shop next door and keep your eyes peeled for the sign below. The restaraunt is on the 5th floor. Here is a map.
