Michael Lambe is a professional Japanese-to-English translator with 6 years of experience working in diverse fields such as literature, history, philosophy, architecture, culture, tourism, marketing, finance, popular science, and IT. Michael is a fellow of the translation training fellowship at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. There he translated patent abstracts and patentability reports in fields such as biotechnology, medicine, electronics, mechanics, and telecommunications. He is also one of six contributors to Kyoto: A Literary Guide, a book of original translations, published by Camphor Press in July 2020.
